Small World is the intense combat strategy game put in a fun and zany fantasy universe. Though the game has been out for some time, it remains a staple because of the brilliant gameplay and cycling of race/power cards that will make you want to play over and over again. The game is fairly simple to learn once you get the combat mechanic and putting a race "Into Decline", but impossible to master. This is everything you should need to know the Small World board game.

There have been many expansions. 5x race expanding (Cursed, Dames, Be Not Afraid, Royal Bonus, Spider Web) and 4x game-altering ("Tales and Legends" card-based / turn change, "Realms" modular board and play options, "Tunnels" which lets you connect two boards, "6p Board" which does what it says). There is also "Underground" which is a stand-alone game that uses relics.
